Before you install

Do I need 411 Pro?

Yes. Scener is included with 411 Pro. Sign in with the same account you use on scenepacks.com to access the app.

Which computers are supported?

Scener provides separate downloads for Apple Silicon Macs, Intel Macs, and Windows x64 PCs. The minimum operating system version appears with each available release.

Why is it showing a security warning?

The current Mac app is self-signed and has not been notarized by Apple, so macOS may show a security warning when you open it. Windows may also show a warning for an unfamiliar installer. Resolving these installation warnings is planned. If you see one, check that you downloaded Scener from scenepacks.com before proceeding.

What video formats does Scener support?

Scener accepts MP4, MKV, MOV, AVI, WebM, and M4V files. Compatibility can also depend on the video and audio codecs inside the file.

Does my footage stay on my computer?

Yes. Your footage stays on your computer and is processed locally. Scener does not upload your videos for processing.

What information does Scener collect?

Diagnostics and usage analytics are optional and off unless you opt in. Diagnostics can include processing results, timings, technical file properties, and device information. Usage analytics covers features used and workflow steps completed.

Reports are linked to your account and installation and kept for up to 12 months. They do not include media content, filenames, file paths, face embeddings, credentials, or raw logs.

You can change either choice in Settings. Turning sharing off stops collection and requests deletion of previously shared reports. Account and subscription information is still needed to sign in and verify access. Read our privacy policy.
